Journeyman electrician
We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- Install utility power components including AC/DC panels, battery charges, conduit, receptacles, circuit breakers, lights, antennas, all LV (120-480V) components.
- Verify components with the bill of materials
- Install electrical components per assembly drawings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of NEC
- Journeyman’s Electrician credential
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with NEC & NFPA
- At least 3 Years Electrician experience
